Shop Information:
1. Is it possible to visit your shop?
Yes, our shop is located at 2901 Medical arts St, suite 300, Austin TX 78705.
We have seating available; come by for some delicious pastries!

We are open Tuesdays to Fridays 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, and on Saturdays 9am to 6pm

3. What types of products do you offer?
Our menu includes buttery croissants, viennoiseries, entremet cakes, éclairs, macarons, tartlets, seasonal specialties, and a selection of savory items such as quiches and ham and cheese croissants.
We also offer house-made push-pop ice creams, including unique flavors inspired by our desserts, along with coffee, tea, and other refreshing beverages. Our menu changes throughout the year to feature seasonal flavors and new creations.

4. Do you have a selection of seasonal products?
Yes, almost our entire menu features seasonal products. We take pride in making everything from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create our delicious baked goods.

5. Do you offer gluten-free/allergen-free options?
Yes, we do! The ingredients and allergens are listed in each item description.
Please note that wheat, eggs, milk, nuts and peanuts are used in the facilities.

6. Do you have options with no added sugar?
Not at the moment but we will soon!

7. Do you offer vegan options?
At the moment, only our Pate de Fruit (french Candy) is vegan.

8. Can I order cakes for special events like weddings or birthdays?
While we no longer specialize in custom cakes, we do offer a variety of beautiful, high-quality French pastries and desserts that are perfect for special occasions. If you’re interested in a cake for an event, please submit your request through our Custom Orders page. We’ll let you know if we can accommodate it on a case-by-case basis.

9. Can I order custom cakes?​
At Violette Bakehouse, our main focus is classic French pastries and desserts, so we accept only a very limited number of custom cake orders. We currently take only one custom cake order per week, with pickup available on Fridays or Saturdays only.
If you would like to inquire about a custom cake, please submit your request through our custom orders page. We’ll review your request based on our availability and the details of the design.

10. How does the custom cake ordering process work?
Custom cake requests begin by selecting an available pickup date through our online calendar. Once a date is selected, a request form can be completed with details such as the occasion, serving size, flavors, design inspiration, colors, and any special requests.
All inquiries are reviewed individually, and a personalized quote is sent within 48 hours based on the level of customization and availability. If the quote is approved, a non-refundable $75 deposit is required to secure the date. Due to limited availability, only a small number of custom cakes are accepted each week.

11. Do you offer wedding cake tastings?
Since we no longer specialize in custom cakes, we do not offer formal wedding cake tastings. However, we invite you to stop by Violette Bakehouse to sample a selection of our French pastries and desserts. These can make wonderful additions to your wedding or special event, and we’d be happy to discuss how our offerings can complement your celebration. 12. How should I store your pastries to keep them fresh?
Some of our pastries need to be refrigerated, while others should be kept at room temperature. Please refer to the specific storage instructions provided on the menu or packaging to ensure they stay fresh.

13. Can I freeze your cakes and pastries?
While you can freeze our cakes and pastries, we do not recommend it as it may alter the texture and taste of the baked goods. For the best quality and flavor, we suggest enjoying them fresh.

Ordering and Reservation Information:
14. How do I place an online order?
You can place your order online via the Order page.

15. What is the recommended lead time for placing an order?
We recommend placing your order at least 72 hours in advance but the sooner the better! To order with less than 72 hours' notice, please call the store at 512 284 9862. We may have limited options available.

16. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept most debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not accept cash payments or checks.

17. Do you offer delivery services?​
Yes! We offer delivery on selected items through DoorDash and EZCater.

DoorDash is available for same-day delivery on eligible items.

EZCater is available for catering orders with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.
Customers are also welcome to arrange their own Uber Courier or third-party pickup service for prepaid orders.

18. Do you accept reservations for special events?
We do not accept reservations at this time.
19. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. If payment has already been processed, it will be refunded provided the cancellation meets the 24-hour notice requirement. All in-store purchased items are non-refundable.
Reward Program:
20. How do I earn reward points?​
​You can earn points, or "Bites," every time you make a purchase at Violette Bakehouse, both in-store and online. For every $1 spent, you’ll earn 1 Bite. Additionally, when you sign up on our website, you’ll receive 50 Bites as a welcome gift! We’ll also add 150 Bites to your account at the start of your birthday month so you can celebrate with something special on us.
21. What are the benefits of your reward point program?
With our Bites reward program, every 20 Bites you earn can be redeemed for $1 off your next purchase. This gives you the chance to enjoy discounts on our delicious pastries, desserts, or drinks.

22. Do reward points expire?
Plus, since Bites never expire, you can accumulate points at your own pace and use them whenever you're ready for a treat!

Points can only be redeem online at the moment.

24. Is there a membership or sign-up fee for the reward program?
The reward program is completely free to join!

26. Are there any restrictions on what I can redeem with my points?
Great news! There are no restrictions on what you can redeem with your points. You can use them to redeem any article you like!

27. Can I transfer my points to someone else?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer points to another account at this moment.

28. How long does it take for points to appear in my account after a purchase?
Your points balance will be updated automatically as soon as the purchase is completed.

29. Can I earn points on gift card purchases?
Great news! You can earn points on gift card purchases.
